Verification ensures all profiles on TrustVerifi are authentic. Individuals complete KYC (government ID + selfie), businesses complete KYB (registry verification), and staff can be verified by their employers. Verified status boosts Trust Score and displays a badge that reassures clients/customers.
KYC = Individual identity verification. KYB = Business entity registration verification. Staff Verification = Employees or contractors linked to a business profile are individually verified.
Most verifications complete instantly via ComplyCube. In rare cases, manual review may take up to 24–48 hours.
You'll receive a notification with reasons (e.g., expired ID, mismatch). You can resubmit corrected documents.

Yes. We support Google Business and Facebook auto-sync. Imported reviews are labeled as "Imported", not "Verified."
AI (Azure OpenAI) can suggest improvements to grammar, tone, and highlight sentiment, but your original review remains untouched. Both the original and AI-enhanced versions are visible for transparency.
Yes. A reviewer can choose to display only their first name and initial, but the review is still linked to a verified email or invite.

Some milestone badges (e.g., Community Builder) are permanent. Others (like Consistently Trusted) may lapse if standards drop (e.g., average rating falls).

All reviews pass through Azure Content Safety (auto-blocks hate, violence, explicit content), AI classification (flags personal data, ads, defamation, spam), and human moderation for edge cases.
Click "Dispute" on the review. Provide evidence (screenshots, contracts, etc.). Our team responds within 7 business days.
They may be labeled as "Under Dispute" until resolved. Outcomes: kept, edited, or removed.

FAQ – Identity Verification & Data SecurityHow your documents are handled
No. TrustVerifi does not store any copies of your passport, driver’s license, or business registration documents.
When you upload your ID for verification, it is sent directly to ComplyCube, our regulated verification partner. They process and check your identity or business details against official records.
We only receive a status response (e.g., Verified / Failed / Pending) and essential metadata (like date of verification). We do not retain or store your actual documents or images.
By not storing sensitive documents ourselves, we minimize risk. Your data is handled by a specialized provider with strict compliance standards (AML/KYC regulations, GDPR).
You can request deletion via TrustVerifi’s Privacy controls. We’ll remove all stored verification results on our side, and ComplyCube also allows you to request full erasure of your documents.

Yes. You can upgrade from Free → Plus → Premium → Advanced at any point. Upgrades take effect immediately, and your new features are unlocked right away.
You can request a downgrade, but the change only takes effect after your current billing cycle ends. For example, if you’re on a monthly Premium plan, you can downgrade to Plus at your next renewal date, not in the middle of your billing period.
Yes. You can cancel anytime, and your account will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, you’ll automatically revert to the Free plan.
Yes. You can upgrade to an Annual plan at any time to unlock savings (17% discount). The switch is immediate, and your next billing date will be adjusted to one year from the upgrade date.
No. Once you’re on an Annual plan, you’ll remain on that plan until the subscription period ends. You can then choose a Monthly plan at your renewal date.
No. Any unused balance from your current monthly payment is automatically prorated and applied toward your Annual plan.

Refunds are not offered once a billing cycle has started, except where required by law. Please review your plan carefully before upgrading.
